Monica is a junior co-captain from Baltimore, MD. She plans to compete on Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor this season. She is double majoring in Psychology and French with a minor in Human Behavioral Development. Her future plans include attending graduate school to become a certified Child Life Specialist. A few noteworthy accomplishments include qualifying to the NCGA National Championships, competing in the all-around, her freshman year (2011) as well as being named NCGA National Champion on Vault in 2012. On campus, she is involved in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and is a French tutor. To Monica “being a part of Ursinus Gymnastics means you are never alone in anything you do; we support one another in all our endeavors both inside and outside of the gym.” She especially loves competing at a home meet when she knows all her friends, family, coaches and teammates are watching.
